Our Core Values · What We Stand For
Our Core Values
Five principles that shape how we work, who we hire, and what kind of company we’re building — written down because words mean more when they’re visible.
The compass that guides our work
Core values are principles to help us guide our behavior, make decisions, and stay grounded as we grow. They’re how a company stays itself when nobody’s looking. They’re how a team knows what to do when the playbook runs out.
We have five at G.I. Junk Removal. Every crew member knows them. Every customer feels them.
What we stand for
Integrity
Honest and having strong moral principles. The right thing — even when it costs us, even when nobody would know.
Discipline
Show up on time. Protect the site. Communicate clearly. Clean thoroughly. The standards don’t loosen because nobody’s watching.
Service
The work doesn’t end when the truck pulls away. Service means treating every customer like the work matters, because it does.
Stewardship
What we haul belongs to a community before it belongs to a landfill. We sort, donate, recycle, and divert whenever possible.
Respect
For the homeowner, the property, the items, and each other. Respect is the difference between a transaction and a relationship.
What your neighbors are saying…
“Needed an old chain link fence removed — crew worked quickly and efficiently. Final cost of the job was well below the initial estimate, too! Would definitely recommend and will be using their services again soon!”
“Great communication! Kept me updated regarding their arrival and completion. Clear in their estimate and adjusted as I needed. Personable and professional. Very happy to hire veterans. Worth every dollar!”
“Communication was great, they were running ahead of schedule and cleared early arrival with me, then were right on time for the new plan. They cleared everything out quickly and the cost estimate was right on.”
“Best experience with this type of business I’ve ever had. Polite, organized, hard workers who got the job done quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend.”
“The guys were friendly and quick to remove everything we needed gone, even double checked when things had tipped over to make sure they didn’t accidentally scoop up the wrong box. This is our third time using them over the years, and we would highly recommend!”
Trusted by thousands of happy customers across the Portland & Vancouver metro area.
